Hi, I'm Andy. I'm a 2-year-old male, terrier mix who is staying at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, waiting to find my forever home.
I was picked up as a stray and have been here since March 2010. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but after a few minutes of sniffing you, I'll warm right up! I also need a little training, but I love treats so as long as you have treats I'm ready to learn with you.
I've already been altered, I'm up-to-date on all my routine shots and I'll be micro-chipped upon adoption. Please come down to the shelter and see me.

Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. On Saturday, March 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the shelter will host its inaugural “Lucky You, Lucky Me” Pet Adoption Event, during which all adoption fees will be waived.
