Oct. 5: New Frozen Yogurt Shop Opens, Robert Core Starts Prison Term

1. Mama Yogurt has opened on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. Find out more about the new business at 10 a.m.

2. In case you missed it, Robert Core, a Town of Hempstead employee who allegedly struck and killed a man while he was allegedly intoxicated, started his nine-month prison term on Thursday.


3. Find out which open houses will take place this week in East Meadow's House Hunts at 12 p.m.

4. In case you missed it, Long Island Rail Road will extend their waiting room hours in 41 stations.
