NUMC Doctor Wins NuHealth's 2013 Heroes in Health Award

Roger Simpson, director of the burn center at the Nassau University Medical Center and president of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group received the NuHealth Foundation’s 2013 Heroes in Health Award.

Simpson was honored for his devotion and leadership of health care services and education at Nassau University Medical Center.

“I am extremely honored at being selected to receive this distinction from the NuHealth Foundation,” he said.. “It has been my sincere privilege to serve the patients at Nassau University Medical Center and to have the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated and gifted colleagues over the years.”
