Millie Jones to Receive 'Woman of Distinction' Award Saturday
Assemblyman McKevitt's annual ceremony will be held at the Farmingdale Public Library beginning at 10 a.m.
East Meadow resident Millie Jones will receive her "Woman of Distinction" award during ceremonies Saturday at the Farmingdale Public Library.
Assemblyman Tom McKevitt hosts the awards ceremony annually to honor women in his 17th assembly district who go "above and beyond the call of duty."
Jones, assistant branch manager of First National Bank in East Meadow, was nominated by the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, of which she is immediate past president.
The Farmingdale Public Library is located at 116 Merritts Road in Farmingdale. The ceremony will take place between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
