County Executive Edward Mangano recently announced that the Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park will be hosting CrossFit classes.
The program is part of Mangano's Fit Nassau, an initiative to improve the health and environment of Nassau County residents.
CrossFit will be offered three times a week beginning July 8 through Saturday, Aug. 3. The classes will be on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.
The costs are of the classes are:
- Residents with a Leisure Pass: $55 ($50 plus a $5 non-refundable registration fee).
- Non-residents without a Leisure Pass: $65 ($60 plus a $5 non-refundable registration fee).
