Last Chance: Memorial Day Parade Marches Through East Meadow

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service, and locals will be able to pay homage as a parade on Monday morning.

There will be an assembly at 9 a.m. in the parking field, and then the parade will start right after at 10 a.m.

The route of the parade will go south to Hempstead Turnpike, east on Hempstead Turnpike to Prospect Avenue, and then south on Prospect Avenue. The ending point of the parade will be .
