Editor's Notebook: Hello East Meadow

Former Bellmore Patch Local Editor excited to get to know East Meadow.

Hello East Meadow!

I am Danielle De Souza and I am the new Local Editor of East Meadow Patch!

For the last year, I have worked as the Local Editor of Bellmore Patch. It was an excellent experience, but now I am looking forward to embarking on a new and exciting mission--serving the East Meadow community!

Before joining Patch, I worked as a night cop reporter for the Gannett Journal News in White Plains, NY.

I have also worked as a freelancer for Patch in the past. My work can be seen on the New Rochelle, Rye, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mount Kisco and Yorktown sites.

After graduating from Manhattan College in the Bronx with a B.A. in English and Journalism in 2004,  I received my Masters in Journalism from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY in 2006.

I love community journalism and I enjoy learning about the history and the people that make up a town, city or village. I can't wait to learn everything there is to know about the businesses, schools, politics and most importantly the people of my new stomping ground, East Meadow!

Not sure why that happened. May have been a technical error.

If can get in and out without a problem I would not. I would rather ask them to move their carRead More back. It's not worth making a life long enemy.

Yes my answer was serious.... I gave you different comments regarding your question. The pics youRead More provided is how I based my answer.... Point was did it create an issue for you and does it occur all the time. If it was a one time incident as small as it was you decide?
