The Eliminate Project is an initiative by Kiwanis International and UNICEF to eradicate maternal and neonatal tetanus.

The Bowling Green K-Kids raised $3,200 for Kiwanis International's Eliminate Project during their recent 5th Annual Talent Show.

The Eliminate Project is an initiative by Kiwanis International and UNICEF to eradicate maternaland neonatal tetanus, a deadly disease that kills more than 60,000 babies and women around the world each year.

The 25 acts of the show included vocals, instrumentals and dance numbers ranging from a classical violin to patriotic bagpipes.

Each act was judged for its musicality, quality of performance and the response of the audience.

The event earned its place as the most successful fundraiser in the Bowling Green K-Kids’s history.

“This was an incredible culmination of the club’ participation in  Eliminate Week, Rich Santer, K-Kids Faculty Advisor said. "The entire club is grateful for the support of local Kiwanis Clubs, nearby businesses and the families and friends of the Bowling Green K-Kids.”
