Aug. 17: Organization to Host Fundraiser, 100 Years of Broadway in East Meadow

1. The East Meadow organization, Wake Up to Awareness will host its first fundraiser on Saturday. Read more .

2. will return to tonight at 7:30 p.m.

3. In case you missed it, East Meadow and Levittown will compete in the . The "battles" started at the Levittown Library on Thursday and will continue at the on Saturday at 11 a.m.

4. The Town of Hempstead will issue Senior ID Cards to residents 60 and over at the from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5. Learn more about gardening during the lecture, at Friendly Farms. The program will cost $10 and will start at 10 a.m.
