Spreading More Holiday Cheer at NUMC

Santa Claus and his helpers arrived by train at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) playing holiday music, with the Nassau County Police Medic Association, to bring joy and toys to pediatric patients.

They visited the pediatric emergency department, the 18th floor and the pediatric clinic and brought cookie platters for the staff and left board games for the 18th floor to have for the children.

County Executive Ed Mangano joined them, as well as Nassau County Chief of Police Steven Skrynecki, who helped deliver toys to the children with Santa.

Adults and children alike had smiles on their faces seeing Santa, Mrs. Claus, Tigger, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, elves and Nassau County Police AMTs coming down the halls spreading holiday cheer.
