New Senior Concierge Service at NUMC

Volunteers are available to assist elderly patients, and anyone needing assistance, by meeting them at the main entrance and escorting them to their appointments.

A senior concierge service is now being offered at Nassau University Medical Center in order to make it easier for senior patient to navigate the medical center, Arthur Gianelli, president/CEO of the NuHealth System, announced.

Volunteers are available to assist elderly patients, and anyone needing assistance, by meeting them at the main entrance and escorting them to their appointments.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our senior patients a concierge service, whereby we can help those in need of assistance in navigating the building, provide them with a wheelchair if needed, and escort them to their appointment,” Gianelli said.

Residents can call 296-CALL (2255) between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to make arrangements; 24-hour notice is preferred.
