The will hold its 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Tuesday evening.
"I can't describe how proud I am of not only my department, but my entire community that we continue to run this most important event," John Priest, chief of the East Meadow Fire Department said.
The candlelight vigil will be held at the Town Square at 7 p.m.
