NUMC Doctor Raises Funds For School in Haiti

Dr. Gilberte Rosarion, a physician at Nassau University Medical Center, recently visited children in Gonaives, Haiti at a school that is financially supported by her organization, Eye of a Dream.

Established by Rosarion in 2011, Eye of a Dream invests 100 percent of the funds pledged, in changing the lives of children in Gonaives, both through paying for formal education and bringing solutions to issues of domestic and sexual violence.

Members of Nassau University Medical Center's Emergency Department also made contributions to the school.
