World @ Jones Beach: A Mosaic of Summer photo contest will capture the Summer of 2011 at Jones Beach through a symbolic montage of photos. It's a visual "day in the life" of Jones Beach from sunrise to beyond sunset. Jones Beach Rescue wants you to snap your favorite scene this summer whether you enjoy the spectacular sand and surf, the famous boardwalk, the many recreational activities or the beautiful park. Photo contest details are posted on Jones Beach Rescue's website. Winning photos will be highlighted on the website. Deadline for submissions is Monday, September 5.

Jones Beach Rescue will highlight all contest entries and winners at an End of Summer Party Fundraiser to be held 4-7 pm Sunday, September 25 at the West Bathhouse, Jones Beach. Tickets are $35 and proceeds will benefit the restoration of the Central Mall Mosaics.  Tickets may be purchased online at NY Charities. If you experience any problems purchasing tickets online, you may contact Jones Beach Rescue at info@jonesbeachrescue.com.
