The Merrick Avenue Civic Association will hold an East Meadow Town meeting on April 18 at 7 p.m. at the East Meadow Public Library. All are welcome.
Topics will include smart growth planning, pedestrian safety, traffic concerns, attracting new businesses and issues currently at the Nassau County Correction Center. A representative from the New York State Department of Transportation and Sheriffs Officers Association will be on hand to speak. There will be time for community participation, as well as questions and answers.
