Long Island Cares Canned Food Drive / CanStruction Display of Canned Food Sculptures Oct. 28 - Nov. 10

"Canstruction" is a competition among architectural professionals as well as students to design and build large scaled sculptures solely out of canned food items all of which will be donated to Long Island Cares Inc., The Harry Chapin Food Bank to help feed the hungry on Long Island. The sculptures will be on display at the RXR Plaza in Uniondale from Oct. 28 - Nov. 10th from 8 am to 6 pm daily and open for public viewing with the donation of a canned good. Long Island Cares' goal is to collect over 200,000 cans for the food bank.
