Stroke Life Society’s last comedy event, a big hit
with stroke survivors, their families and friends, packed the house to capacity and left guests a little more lighthearted than when they arrived.  “You need not be a stroke survivor, or even know someone who is, to attend,” says Darleen Schauder, co-founder of Stroke Life Society, “the only requirement is that you are there to have fun.” So grab some friends, break up your week, and make your Wednesday feel like a Friday!

A ticket donation is $20, and is 100% tax deductible;
 Governor’s requires a two-drink minimum. Tickets MUST BE purchased in advance through www.strokelife.org or by calling 516-946-1548.

For those interested in taking chances on baskets
full of goodies (donated by local merchants), door prizes and their 50/50 raffle, doors will open at 6:30. The comedians will start promptly at 8:00.

Co- founders Darleen Schauder and stroke survivor
Ben Thomas urge you to visit their website www.strokelife.org  if you or someone you know may benefit from their support.  All donations are given
directly to help stroke survivors, and no donation is too large or too small. Stroke Life Society, “United in Pursuit of Living and Helping Others” is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization helping stroke survivors and co-survivors through support meetings and companionship at convenient locations.
