Hearts and Hoops Against Hunger

K-JOY radio station and the Hofstra University Men's Basketball team are working with Island Harvest to help alleviate hunger problems in the area.

This initiative, called "Hearts and Hoops Against Hunger," asks that people bring two non-perishable food donations to the Mack Sports Center box office at Hofstra between Feb. 14 and Feb. 26. Box office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In return, participants will receive a free ticket to see the team play Delaware on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m.

Their is a limit of one ticket per donation, which will be limited to 1,000 participants.
