Members donate to Easter Seals, Breathe Believe organizations.

East Meadow Kiwanis recently donated funds raised at the July 22 gold outing at Eisenhower Park to several organizations, including Easter Seals and Breathe Believe.

More than $18,000 was raised at the event, which was held in conjunction with Borelli's.

Members recently presented a $1,500 check to Easter Seals, which helps people with disabilities and $1,500 to Breathe Believe, which assists people with cystic fibrosis.

Remaining proceeds "will be used for scholarships, sending children to Kamp Kiwanis and other community needs," Kiwanis president Debbie Kirsh said.
