BirdBrain Parrots : Don't be fooled by flashy advertising for your pet food!

There are a lot of misconceptions about what to feed your companion pet and whether it matters. The answer is yes....you are what you eat and this is true for most pets too.

Just like humans...what your pet eats will help to keep it healthy and even improve their mood. Some Veterinarians may disagree however lets just think about it realistically. If the food contains mostly corn meal/ by products ( whatever those are? ) and a variety of unknown ingredients how can it be possible that the product is equally as healthy as one that has all natural familiar ingredients.

I hear all too often  "oh my dog has been eating this brand for years" or "my cat is so finicky, it would never convert to a different food".

The Vets ( exotics)  that I have spoken to say this " The main reason for most office visits beside injury is poor nutrition"

Our pets become a part of our family. They unfortunately can not be listed in our health insurance plan though. Veterinarian care is expensive and there are some issues with our pets health and care that we do not have control over. The diet is not one of them.

We will educate you and provide information regarding the best foods to feed your pet. We do not get all the information from the manufacturer alone. We do research and comparison studies.

Don't be fooled by the advertising antics that make it appear as though the product is a good one. It very well could be, however it very well may not.
