Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

Everyone who has grown a pumpkin - nomatter what its size - is encouraged to bring it to Hicks Nurseries annual pumpkin weigh off. In addition to awards for the 3 heaviest pumpkins, they will also award prizes to the 'Rookie of the Year' and 'Best Pumpkin Grown by A Child' (under the age of 15). Contestants who need to have their pumpkin unloaded must be at the nursery no later than 10am.
Prizes:
1st place: $500
2nd place: $300
3rd place: $200
Rookie of the Year: $100
Best Pumpkin Grown by a Child: Winner ribbon and a free hayride for their family.
