The East Meadow Fire Department will be hosting a disaster drive for the victims of Hurricane 'Sandy' beginning on Sunday, November 4th at 9:00am. People wishing to donate may bring their contributions to the East Meadow Fire Department Headquarters located at 197 East Meadow Avenue, East Meadow, which is the firehouse next to the East Meadow Public Library. Items of necessity include bottled water, nonperishable food, clothing (especially jackets), toiletries, flashlights, and batteries, as well as diapers, bottles and baby formula.
