Who is Eligible to Vote?
To vote, in the general and primary elections, you must be a registered voter. To register, you must be a US citizen, be 18 years old by the date of the election in which you are voting, live at your current address for at least 30 days before the election, not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction, and not claim the right to vote elsewhere. When Are Polls Open and Where Do I Vote?
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Residents can find their polling locations at the board of elections website.
Results will be posted online as soon as they are available.

- County Executive: Edward Mangano vs. Tom Suozzi
- District Attorney: Kathleen Rice vs. Howard E. Sturim
- Nassau County Comptroller: George Maragos vs. Howard Weitzman
- County Clerk: Maureen C. O'Connell vs. Lauren Gillen
- Nassau County Legislator 2nd District: Robert Troiano, Jr. vs. Pepitz Blanchard
- Nassau County Legislator 13th District: Norma Gonsalves vs. Edward Kraus
TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD
- Town of Hempstead Supervisor: Kate Murray vs. Felix Procacci
- Town Clerk: Nasrin Ahmad vs. Jasmin Garcia-Vieux
- Sixth Councilmanic District: Gary Hudes vs. Diane Madden
Also on the ballot is a referendum to build seven casinos in the state.
