Where/When: St. Brigid’s School in Westbury (101 Maple Avenue); Thursday, Aug. 11 through Monday, Aug. 15 from 6 to 11 p.m.
Why Go: What could be better than a good old festival in the middle of summer? This fair will feature delicious Italian food, rides, games and entertainment. Plus, on Saturday and Sunday night, there will be fireworks. A great activity for all!

Where/When: ; Friday, Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy all that summer has to offer with this dinner and service in the great outdoors. The event will be lead by Cantor Weinberg and will kick off with a delicious barbecue dinner. A Friday night Shabbat service will follow – all under the beautiful night sky.

Why Go: Bring a blanket down to the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre for a delightful musical display courtesy of the Long Island Philharmonic. Relish in the beautiful melodies as the sun is setting over the park. This concert is the perfect way to end a summer week!

Where/When: ; Saturday, Aug. 13 and Sunday, 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Why Go: Walk around this craft fair and see all of the beautiful items available for sale throughout the weekend. A fantastic way to find little items to give as gifts or decorate your home. There will certainly be something to suit everyone’s taste.

Where/When: ; Saturday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Look to spice up your dating life a little? Speed dating may be right for you! Participants will enjoy up to 15 dates throughout the night. Women ages 32 to 45 and men ages 35 to 47 are eligible to attend.
