Weekend Planner: Black Swan, Line Dancing and Speed Bowling

Where/When: ; Friday, Apr. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: If you still haven’t seen this ballet themed thriller, this is your chance! Black Swan is critically acclaimed and this showing gives you the opportunity to follow the troubling journey of a young ballerina in her quest to be perfect.
Pricing: Free.
 

Where/When: ; Friday, Apr. 15 with sign-ups at 10 p.m. and tournament beginning at 11 p.m.
Why Go: After a long work week, bring your friends down to McZ’s and unwind with the Friday night tournaments. Show off your skills in favorite bar games beer pong and sapo – maybe you’ll even win the whole competition!
Pricing: $20 per team for beer bong, $5 per person for sapo.
 

Where/When:  ; Saturday, Apr. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Not your traditional line dancing class, this session will go over how to do the basics to salsa, tango, cha-cha and many other beats. Get in shape for summer while having a blast with your friends and fellow dance lovers.
Pricing: $4 per person, which goes toward benefiting the parish.
 

Where/When: ; Saturday, Apr. 16 at 7 p.m.
Why Go: Try something different this Saturday night and check out speed bowling. Women and men get split up into teams of three and bowl against one another. A fun and easy way to meet new people with no pressure.

Where/When: ; Sunday, Apr. 17 at 2 p.m.
Why Go: The library’s “comic in residence” Mark Brier will be performing along with Rich Walker, voted Long Island Press’ choice for number one comic in the area. Finish off your weekend by sharing some good laughs with friends.
