UPDATE: Traffic Light Fixed on North Jerusalem Road
Motorists should proceed with caution.
A traffic light at the intersection of North Jerusalem Road and Shakespeare Lane was not working properly Monday morning, and local drivers were urged to use extreme caution while crossing through.
The light, which is located just in front of the CVS shopping center, was blinking red for those looking to leave the shopping center, and it was blinking yellow for drivers heading east or west on North Jerusalem Road.
UPDATE: According Katie Grilli-Robles, the spokeswoman for Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, the problem has been rectified by the Department of Public Works.

"The control equipment for the signal needed to be repaired and that has been done," Grilli-Robles said.
