Cheapest Gas Prices in East Meadow

In a down economy people are always looking for ways to save; one area where this can be accomplished is at the pump. These are the cheapest gas prices in East Meadow according to MotorTrend.com.

We see some interesting trends this week, with some categories taking a step in the right direction. Let's take a look.

In terms of regular gas, prices stayed the same this week at , located at 2475 Hempstead Tpke., and , located at 2789 North Jerusalem Rd. Both of these stations are offering regular gas at $3.69 per gallon.

We see a positive trend in plus fuel this week, as Mobil on the Run is champion there as well. The price of fuel is currently marked at $3.79 per gallon, which is $.10 lower than last week's number.

Premium fuel dropped as well this week, although not to the extreme that plus gasoline did. , located at 1880 Front St., has the cheapest gas in East Meadow at a $3.93 clip, which is a $.04 drop from last week.

Perhaps the most unpleasant news comes from diesel fuel, which continues to skyrocket. Gulf, located at 2789 North Jerusalem Rd., has the cheapest mark, but the price is $4.19 per gallon, a whopping $.20 higher than last week.
