Ways for Shoppers to Save as Holidays Approach

With the holidays fast approaching, East Meadow residents are looking for ways to spend money wisely. Both , located at 1897 Front St, and , located at 1530 Front St, are offering new incentives for shoppers this holiday season.

From now until Dec. 31, each time a customer spends $300 at Waldbaums they will receive a coupon for five percent off of their next purchase. Customers simply present their Savings Club Card every time they shop, and when their purchases add up to $300, they will automatically earn a 5 percent Reward Certificate, good toward a future purchase.

"It's a reward for our good customers," said Vincenza Laurino, a manager at the East Meadow store. "It's great for the holiday season."

In addition, Pathmark shoppers can participate in the exciting Shop 2 Win Sweepstakes for a chance to win Pathmark gift cards. From now until Dec. 30, two shoppers per week at the East Meadow Pathmark will win a $100 gift card. Every time a customer spends just $25, they will be automatically entered for one chance to win, and if they spend $50, they will earn two entries – up to as many as eight entries per week. A customer simply needs to scan their Pathmark Advantage Club Card every time they shop to participate in the sweepstakes. 

"Saving money is important," an East Meadow Pathmark manager who chose to remain anonymous said. "Customers are looking for help."
