Hmmmm lets see, for Small Business Saturday I may be going to one of the many Cash for Gold Pawn shops along the Pike. After I get that much needed cash for gold that we sold, I can then get that Tatoo I have always wanted from one of several tatoo shops along the Pike. With any luck I may have some bucks left over so we can buy the new Hookah Pipe at one of the shops on the Pike too..... A new one just opened we may start their... Wow, we have one busy shopping destination on Hempstead Turnpike.... Then with any luck I can buy a gift certificate to one of the wonderful nail salon shops or better yet to an eyebrow threading location for that special someone and present them with it at some of the finest local bars this town has.... Then if we have some loose change leftover we can make sure one of the local panhandlers receive it so it can be put to good use..... Perhaps they can get that Budweiser they have been yearning about for a while... I cant wait that long, I wish Saturday was here already.

I totally agree with you Paul. East Meadow fails horribly when it comes to small business. We have too many vacant shops. I'm disgusted with East Meadow, it has nothing to offer. Only strip malls full of nail salons, pizzerias, tasteless Chinese take out and empty stores. My husband and I have already decided to move somewhere else. Too bad the local government doesn't take an interest in modernizing this town.

You can start by blaming people like Kate Murray and the clowns of the BZA... You gave me an idea, perhaps I need to run for a political spot. I would run on the party line of Common Sense.... Look out Kate here we come.... Just saying...

I just remembered I have more gold to sell. We can then eat at fine establishments like, Hooters, Zorns or Sonic......
