Sacramone's Hosts Ribbon Cutting

The new eatery has hit the ground running in East Meadow.

Representatives from the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis and other local organizations were on hand Thursday for the ribbon cutting of one of East Meadow's newest restaurants,

The Italian restaurant on Dec. 26 at 2366 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, and Domenico Sacramone, who owns the business with his brother Anthony, told Patch that things are going well at the new location.

"Business is getting better and better every week," Sacramone said. "Weekends are great. We’re getting the flow we want."

He added that they're trying to spruce things up a bit, and Sacramone's now features a live band on Wednesday nights. He also said that local businesses have been very supportive since in East Meadow.

"Everybody I meet is happy for us, and we’re happy to be here," he said. "We’re making a lot of good acquaintances, and things are going good."
