The Carlton, although a tad bit pricey for some (considering the size of one's family) is the best place for Mother's Day Brunch. In the main ballroom, you are ushered to your table and meet your server, who takes your drink order. The full buffet which is set up in the middle of the room (dance floor area) affords the hungriest patron an opportunity to "pig out" if that is their choosing. They have everything. Having gone last year with my husband, daughter and son-in-law, I remember eggs prepared as scrambled, fried with potatoes and onions, omelets (vegetable/cheese), variety of breads, sausage, bacon, french fries and chicken tidbits (popular with the kiddies) and a dessert table that makes me still salivate. Speaking of kiddies...there were many, but the room is so spacious, they somehow disappear into the ambiance of the place. I want to also mention, the servers were the BEST. They are at your beck and call. Right there, to refill your coffee cup or to clear your empty dish. I loved it. It's a great place to show your mom how much you appreciate all she does for you.

Good comment Paul. Carltun is an excellent selection for a special occasion. With the kids and family a place like Friendlys for its dining, is a selection for people on a budget and looking for that no hassle atmosphere.. Well said....

I would love to be taken to the Carlton for Mother's Day or any day but I will be celebrating Mother's Day by watching both my kids graduate from college (Bachelors) and grad school (Doctorate). Same day, same time, same university! I am a very proud mother !!
