Patch Expands to Oyster Bay

Long Island just got more interesting: Our new site in Oyster Bay is live.

Patch has expanded in Nassau County. Our new site in Oyster Bay is live

Patch has been a player on the scene in Oyster Bay for some time. We already cover Town news and events for sister sites in Farmingdale, Massapequa, Plainview and Syosset.

Patch also brought you extensive coverage of the July 4 tragedy in Oyster Bay that sank a boat and with it claimed the lives of three children. Now you have another resource for all things Oyster Bay.

We’ll chronicle it all, from Town of Oyster Bay news you can use to the best gas prices around and the latest happenings up and down bustling Route 106. That includes the annual Oyster Festival.

Look for Local Editor Heather Doyle around town. You can reach her at heather.doyle@patch.com.

Patch has also added Medford in Suffolk County. Patch is owned by AOL, and operates 43 websites across Long Island, and 887 nationwide.

Will Patch ever expand to other communities (Hempstead, Freeport, Uniondale, etc), or will it just continue with its vanilla themed expansion on Long Island?
