NuHealth Offers Residents a Chance to be Part of NUMC

On Tuesday, NuHealth officials announced that they aim to sell hundreds of bricks for a new donor wall on the elevated walkway outside of NUMC’s brand new Emergency Department as part of the "Path to NuHealth" campaign. Residents will be able to buy bricks, ranging in from $100 to $1,000 to have their named etched into NUMC.

"We believe everyone, no matter what their circumstance, has a right to expect and to receive quality health care," Arthur Gianelli, president and CEO of NuHealth said. "And our mission is to ensure that they do."

The messages on the wall will be from grateful patients, families, small businesses, employees and many more, and the campaign is off to a solid start. Board Member Zaki Hossain and his wife Rahat pledged $30,000 and the NY Community Bank Foundation bought the first $500 brick, according to officials.
