"We know that this is a tough location and we are hoping it does well," Landesberg said. "Singh Hospitality owns about 10 restaurants on Long Island and we have been doing this for 25 years."

Landesberg said that Fuego Picante serves traditional Mexican delights such as fajitas and empanadas, as well as BBQ items.

"We also have some of the best margaritas and sangria," he said. "Everything is homemade and fresh and we serve vegan and gluten-free items."

Landesberg said that the community has been very receptive to the new restaurant.

"It's been very busy and we have had a lot of positive feedback and support," he said. "It's been a good start."
