Free Fribbles on Saturday at Friendly’s Restaurants

Will you stop in for a free Fribble?

Friendly’s Restaurants across Long Island will be giving away free 12 oz. Fribbles to anyone who stops by any of their 33 Long Island eateries on Saturday, including their .  

The restaurant chain, which claimed bankruptcy in October 2011, says giving away their popular Fribbles, which comes in strawberry, vanilla and chocolate, is just one way to give back to customers.

"This is our way of saying thanks to our customers and to let them know that we appreciate their business,” said Joe Vitrano, president of J&B restaurant partners.

Friendly's is just one local business that is giving back this week; on Wednesday in Westhampton Beach provided customers with free scoops of Be & Jerry's ice cream and the Green Market Cafe' in Hampton Bays is providing free smoothies to teachers and students all day today.
