Former Massage Parlor Remains Vacant

Possible new tenants coming soon, says real estate broker.

Unfortunately, East Meadow has more than its fair share of empty businesses.

514A East Meadow Ave. is one such example with its shades drawn and its sign turned backwards. The vacant storefront is just one of several blighting the busy roadway.

However, an agent of Prime Realty said that her firm is actively seeking new renters for the property, which is primed and ready to be renovated to accommodate any number of businesses.

“Right now, it’s basically a vanilla box,” she said. “It’s just 1,000 square feet of open space. There’s a separate wall in the back where there’s a bathroom and a closet with a safe. It’s totally open right now.”

The agent said that the store has seen many tenants come and go throughout the years.

“There have been quite a few businesses there,” she said. “The last one was a massage and acupuncture spa.”

According to Prime Realty, there are currently several interested parties who are looking to perhaps take over the store and establish a new business in the East Meadow community.

“We have a florist that’s possibly interested, as well as a liquor store,” the agent said. “The landlord is willing to work with anyone on the rent. He’s a really good landlord.”

Interested parties in this commercial location can contact Prime Realty at 516-579-6600.
