Joey B: Joey B’s got started just because it’s been a dream of mine since I was little to open up my own pizza business. It was something that I’ve done since I was little with my dad — my dad had done it for years. I always loved Italian food and dealing with people.

What are the different toppings and pizza slices you offer?

Joey B’s is a local-friendly pizzeria with great tasting food. We don’t just look at your wallet when you walk in. We actually care about you and your family and we appreciate a good conversation. Which basically means, we’re not a corporation like other pizzerias, we’re a local pizza place.

Why do you feel East Meadow is a great location for your business?

I’m a Hofstra grad who lives in East Meadow. I love the town of East Meadow and it’s a short commute from my house. I sponsor the East Meadow Little League and it’s been an absolute blast. Myself being a former athlete for years, I enjoy everything about the East Meadow Little League. And I also work closely with schools, churches, temples and other local organizations all in East Meadow with their catering needs and what they can afford.

Why do your customers keep returning?

Thankfully, they keep coming back, mainly because of my consistent product that I serve and the relationship that my customers and I form.  Please come in and say hello to Joey B.
