East Meadow Resident Gets Nostalgic

A young entrepreneur from East Meadow has a passion for all things vintage. Carla Fernandes opened The Village Vintage in Westbury in July. The shop offers an eclectic array of home furnishings - anything from classic and antique furniture and paintings to frames, glassware, china and chandeliers. Click here for more.

Residents Get Sneak Peak at New Schoolhouse Road Building

D&F Development Group held a community barbecue in Levittown Thursday to say hello to their new neighbors and show off the newly renovated building. The real estate company said that their new offices at 100 Schoolhouse Road are about 99.9 percent complete and they hope to move in the building in the next few days. Click here for more.

Premier Care, a walk-in urgent care center that treats both adults and children, is now open in East Meadow. The facility, one of 10 now open on Long Island, is located at 1919 Hempstead Turnpike. Click here for more.
