Wild Cherryz Burlesque Show Saturday

Elizabeth DeGennaro, producer and director, said new numbers have been added to the show to give it "a little more spice."

"Arcana Lace," a Wild Cherryz Burlesque show produced and directed by Elizabeth DeGennaro, owner of Wild Cherryz Dance and Fitness Studio in East Meadow, will hit the stage Saturday in New York City for its second to last performance.

DeGennaro said new numbers have been added to the show to give it "a little more spice."

The 45-minute show, which starts at 11 p.m. at The Cutting Room in Manhattan, is inspired by DeGennaro’s showgirl role on the HBO hit series “Boardwalk Empire.”

Born and raised in East Meadow, DeGennaro wanted to create a show that's not only "free, fun and sexy" but also offers a theatrical storyline. It's not only choreographed dance numbers but the story of a woman trying to find her way into the entertainment world, using her talent to come out on top at the end of the show.

Tickets can be purchased at thecuttingromnyc.com for $20 and at the door for $25.
