Hofstra Grad Cast on New Season of 'Saturday Night Live'
2004 graduate John Milhiser set to join sketch comedy show cast for 39th season.
Hofstra University alumnus John Milhiser was announced by NBC as one of six new cast members to join the upcoming season “Saturday Night Live.”
Milhiser, who hails from Belle Mead, NJ, graduated in 2004 as a Film Studies and Production major.
According to the Hofstra news, Milhiser "is co-founder of the sketch site SeriousLunch.com and has performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch teams in both New York and Los Angeles.
Milhiser also performed in the New Faces Characters showcase at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
He joins the cast for the sketch comedy show’s upcoming 39th season, which will premiere Sept. 28. Tina Fey is scheduled as the host and Arcade Fire is scheduled to perform as the musical guest.
