Gloria Gaynor Wows Crowd at 'We Will Survive' Music Festival

Eisenhower Park event featured entertainment from different musical genres.

Disco diva Gloria Gaynor was among several performers who wowed crowds at the recent "We Will Survive" Strong Island Music Festival at Eisenhower Park.

The Festival featured entertainment from different musical genres with performances by Gaynor, Rattlesnake Dawn, Southbound, Wonderous Stories, Minute by Minute, Funk Filharmonik and That 70’s Band.

The event also included a Long Island historical interactive area featuring several Long Island historical societies and museums, craft and gift shows.

A portion of corporate proceeds is being donated to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Nassau County Hurricane Sandy Relief and the Nassau County Police Fallen Officers – Widows and Orphans Fund.
