"The Parade: A Stampede of Stories About Ananse, the Trickster Spider"

In celebration of Black History Month, The Long Island Children's Museum, at 11 Davis Ave in Garden City, presents author K.P. Kojo on Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. Children age 5 and older are invited to meet the author and listen as he reads from his first children's book, "The Parade: A Stampede of Stories About Ananse, the Trickster Spider." Seven Ananse stories from Ghana pulsate with mischievous animals, a touch of moral message and, peeping out wickedly above them all, Ananse the trickster spider.

Free with museum admission. Call 516-224-5800 or visit http://licm.org for more information.
