Satya Pradeep, a well-known New York area classical Indian dancer and choreographer, performs at the East Meadow Public Library on Jan. 30. According to a press release, her dance forms include Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancing, which are traditional classical styles common to South India. She conducts lectures, demonstrations and workshops throughout Long Island. The performance at EMPL will include both a performance and a workshop, and is presented in cooperation with Long Island Traditions.
