"Stories of the Heart" Film Festival at the Long Island Children's Museum
The Long Island Children's Museum, located at 11 Davis Ave in Garden City, holds a "Stories of the Heart" Film Festival on Feb. 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. (Also on Feb. 6 and 25 at 1 and 3 p.m.) Recommended for ages 3 and up, two films are scheduled.
In the first film, a young boy uses his talents and creativity to say, "I'm In Love with Kimberly Johnson." Continuing the countdown to the Brooklyn Film Festival’s kidsfilmfest in June, "Puppy's Super Delicious Valentine's Day Biscuits" is an animated short about a puppy who bakes something sweet, hoping to win the heart of Miss Duck.
Kids can bring a Valentine for their favorite gallery with them and put it in the special Valentine’s box in the theater.
