Opening Reception: The Art of Ruth Lawrence

The East Meadow Public Library is pleased to present the artwork of Ruth Lawrence during the month of October. Ms. Lawrence, a multi-talented artist and author, has given us this retrospective of her work encompassing her many years through her growth as an artist. She has run the gamut of styles from reality to Impressionism, op art, pop art, and then to illustration of her children's poetry. Ms. Lawrence continues to paint and delight us in her search for new adventures of expression. Her vitality and outlook on life created this "must see" exhibit. There will be an Opening Reception on Oct. 3, from 2 - 4p.m. with light refreshments and music.
