Long Island Caribbean American International Heritage Festival

Nassau County and the Jamaica Cultural Alliance will be holding the 2nd Annual Long Island Caribbean American International Festival (LICAIF) on Jun. 18 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Eisenhower Park’s Lakeside Theater.

The LICAIF a family friendly event that will have a wide selection of arts, crafts, food, music and more. The event will feature Caribbean Gospel with artist Shirley Willis (who is a founding member of Grace Thrillers, Natalie Evans  and Barrington Reid. Additionally, Soca and Calypso with Supa P, Adlib Steel Orchestra and Angels Caribbean Band will be performing, according to a press release from the county.

“Last year’s inaugural festival featured more than 10,000 attendees celebrating the many cultures of the Caribbean, and I once again invite everyone to Eisenhower Park for this great event,” said Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano in the press release.
