The Town of Hempstead Department of Parks and Recreation presents its annual Arts & Crafts program for children ages 5-12 beginning Oct. 2 through Dec. 11. The classes are held at Veterans Memorial Park in East Meadow from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Your child will enjoy creating fun, hands-on art projects in sessions led by experienced recreation teachers.
Registration began on Sept. 27 and continues until classes are filled. Call the park directly at 516-296-7791 to register. Parents may only enroll their own children, and child's proof of age must be brought to the first class.
