The East Meadow Public Library will be holding "EMcon" on Jun. 10 at 3 p.m. and Jun. 11 starting at 11 a.m. The library's anime convention will feature everything anime, including a drawing competition, martial arts, workshops, contests, screening room, dance party and more.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
- 11 a.m. - Learn How to Draw Anime
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. - Marvel v. Capcom/ Dance Dance Revolution Tournament
- 12:30 p.m. - Grand Master J. Two Owls Teasley martial arts demo and workshop
- 1:30 p.m. - Ninja fact v. fantasy
- 2:30 p.m. - Viewing of Villikon Chronicles: Return to Mayhem and Q&A with director Rebecca Friedman
- 3:30 p.m. - Cosplay Contest
