Bari Koral Family Rock Band to Premiere New Songs at LICM

East Meadow native Bari Koral is premiering songs off her new album at the Long Island Children's Museum later this month.

Koral was active in theater during her years at Barnum Woods and East Meadow High School.

"I was like the original GLEE!" she said. "I had a teacher - Mr. Hershkewitz - who was a big influence. He really let us be creative and act and sing. I remember I was Lucy in 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown' many times. And that was a real fitting role at the time."

Now a kids/family recording artist and music, movement and kids yoga educator in New York City, Koral's new album is due out in March 2014.

The Long Island Children's Museum is located at 11 Davis Avenue in E. Garden City.
