The Adult Summer Reading Club is an event for patrons 21 years or older that rewards summer readers with parties and prizes.

Every time you read a book a report can be filled out and dropped at the reference desk or you may also use an online form on the East Meadow Public Library website. For questions, please contact the Reader Services Department 516 794-2570 x236.

The more you read, the better chance you have to win! All Events to take place at the East Meadow Public Library.

June 26th

  • Book Discussion- Sister by Rosamund Lupton 7:30 p.m.

July 12

  • Read and Share- 7:30 p.m

July 31

  • Book Discussion- Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok at 7:30 p.m.

August 21

  • Book Discussion - Defending Jacob by William Landay: We are excited that William Landay, author of Defending Jacob, will be joining us via Skype to discuss his book and answer questions. 7 p.m.- discussion, 8 p.m.- skype.

August 28

  • End of Summer Wish It Were Longer Party 7:30 p.m. with refreshments and prizes.
